Sarah B. Gerdes

Sarah Gerdes is a Partner at Sears Bennett Gerdes, LLP, where she focuses her practice on representing single-family residential and condominium associations across the State of Texas.

Ms. Gerdes advises community associations on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, subdivision and condominium development, and the drafting and revision of governing documents such as restrictions, rules, policies, bylaws, and architectural control guidelines. Her work also includes contract review, issuing legal opinions on association obligations, assisting with board and member meetings, enforcement of restrictions, collections, foreclosure matters, and ensuring compliance with current Texas laws.

She is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law and Property Owners’ Association Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction that reflects her deep knowledge and commitment to excellence in these areas of law.
